Pastry Classes

Sophie trained at the International Culinary Center in the San Francisco Bay Area, graduating with highest honors and a Grand Diplôme in pastry arts in 2018.

Her passion for creating and sharing unique desserts comes from her Sicilian-American family of dessertiers. Arriving to the United States in the early 1900s, her ancestors were candymakers in New York City, where her grandfather, Guiseppe, continued the family tradition by opening his own cookie shop with her father.

Sophie teaches classes in pastry and dessert making in Los Angeles, providing each class with a foundation in pastry and dessert making techniques, while helping students to develop their individual culinary artistry.
